The Volleyball Centre at CSE is a state-of-the-art training environment that builds rhythm, timing and coordination. It is home to the Bengaluru Torpedoes, which sets a clear professional standard for how we train. Athletes progress from first touch and serve receive to attack and defence, with disciplined coaching, match-play blocks and clear feedback that prepare them for competition.

BENGALURU TORPEDOES VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY
The training arm of Bengaluru Torpedoes, the Prime Volleyball League team, is headquartered at CSE and recognised by the FIVB as a Volleyball Centre of Excellence in India.
Technical leadership comes from David Lee, American middle blocker, Olympic gold medallist in Beijing 2008, Olympic bronze medallist in Rio 2016 and a three-time Olympian. Day-to-day coaching is led by Nikolaos (Nikos) Katikas, an international coach from Greece who brings European training structure, game reading and positional clarity.
The curriculum covers passing and serve receive, setting, middle and wing attack, block timing, regular match play and tournament exposure, with clear levels for beginners, intermediates and advanced players.
