Rohan Bopanna Tennis Academy (RBTA)
The tennis programme at CSE is led by Padma Shri Rohan Bopanna, World No. 1 in doubles (2024) and Australian Open champion. The programme trains over 150 athletes within a semi-indoor, weather-proof facility, enabling consistent, year-round practice. It includes scaled Quick Start (mini) courts for early-stage learning and full-size match courts for advanced training, allowing clear progression within the same environment. Players move through development to competitive groups, with training aligned to tournament conditions. The academy is home to elite athletes such as Akanksha Nitture (India No. 1) and Soha Sadiq.
It also runs the Bhoomi Program, a structured initiative that identifies and supports young players from underserved communities through coaching, education, and residential support, creating a clear pathway to pursue the sport at a higher level.
